- Story Text: In a new twist in fashion, super band, Kiss played live at an American plus size fashion show while the models strutted their stuff.
The U.S. size 12 -and- over models strutted down the ramp in the newest spring collections, while legendary Rock Band Kiss performed on the main stage.
Plus size models did a good job filling out the sexy lingerie at Lane Bryant's third annual Fashion Show held at The Roseland Ballroom in New York.
The list of models included Anna Nicole Smith, supermodel Carre Otis and Aerosmith singer, Steven Tyler's daughter Mia, who paraded in sultry sexy eye popping lingerie, with looks that ranged from rock'n'roll to 1940's pin up girl glamour.
"It has taken me quite a while to arrive at this point, and I think because of the amount of work that I have done, I am really able to celebrate where I am at as a woman at this point of my life. And there's also a place within this industry where women are really wanting a different ideal a different image out there that's something more realistic and attainable for all of us. So I think this is a step in the right direction of really beginning to balance that out" Otis said.
The collection included ruched and drawstring baby dolls, sheer nighties and camisoles.
While the models did provide an eyeful, Rock Band Kiss did manage to steal some of the thunder with a rousing performance that had the crowd rocking. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
