  • Story Text: Infamous rockers Motley Crue are all set to tear up the stage once again. The veteran band announce details of a brand new tour at the Fuse studios in New York.

    "Crue Fest 2" kicks off on July 19 in Camden, New Jersey before going all across North America.
    Motley Crue will headline "Crue Fest 2" with bands including Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils.
    Motley Crue singer Nikki Sixx talks about going on tour and working with new bands.
    Said Sixx,
    "Crue Fest 2, there's a lot of great bands out there.
    We are very excited about the production we are putting together with Dr Feelgood being played top to bottom. We know that all the bands we are taking on the road put on great rock and roll live shows and its a real traveling circus so to speak."
    The rockers follow in the success of their first annual Summer Festival, which became one of the biggest selling tours last year.
    Motley Crue member Tommy Lee says despite years performing in front of audiences, it never gets old.
    Said Lee, "Still to this day I get nervous. I always just figure, once you don't get nervous any more then you have lost the passion for what you do and then I will be like, I am out. I am done. I still get nervous. I still get all freaked out and then as soon as the house lights go out, its all "phaw!" But pre-show, its still weird to this day."
    After the tour, the band intend to head back to the studio to work on a brand new album, set for release in early 2010.
