- Story Text: Britain's Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were amongst the guests at a glamorous fashion charity gala in aid of cancer research. Also attending the event were designers Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace and Paul Smith, pop stars Sir Elton John and Sting, and actor Joseph Fiennes.
The grounds of the picturesque Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire were buzzing with A-list guests from the worlds of fashion, film and music.
Designers Giorgio Armani, Sir Paul Smith and Stella McCartney were there, along with Donatella Versace and Alexander McQueen. Also at the party were models Kate Moss, Elle McPherson and Naomi Campbell and the world of music was represented by Sir Elton John and Sting and Kylie Minogue.
Joseph Fiennes and Rupert Everett also turned up for the event which all in all included more than 500 people .
The fashion gala was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, of which Prince Charles is a patron.
The summer splendour of the manor house was a perfect backdrop for the party, organised by British Vogue and sponsored by Jaguar.
Dotted around the gardens, were a number of pavilions specially designed by the world's most famous fashion houses - Armani, Asprey and Garrard, Burberry, Christian Dior, Gucci, McQueen and Donatella Versace.
Highlight of the evening was the auction of an X-type Jaguar customised by Sir Paul Smith also in aid of the charity. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
