- Story Text: While snowstorms continued to hit several European countries on Tuesday (March 10), Israelis were enjoying a heatwave.
Dozens of beach-goers took to the sandy beaches in the Israeli coastal city of Tel Aviv, a chance to work on their tan with temperatures at 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) Bshar Azai took off a day from university and headed to the sea.
"It's weird. We're in March and it's sunny and everyone is at the beach," he said, "especially when all countries around the world, especially Europe, are dealing with snow and cold weather."
