- Story Text: Israeli students took a break from university studies on Tuesday (March 16) to roll joints in an "all for fun" competition.
Judges crowned three people who presented the most artistic and creative joint.
Yaniv Fried, who organized the competition through Ben Gurion University's website, said only legal tobacco was used and "it is all for the fun".
Students who gathered to watch the competition at a pub nearby the university grounds counted down: 3,2,1 as the competitors began rolling joints in different styles.
"Every competition gonna have three minutes to roll the stuff to do something artistic. The judges gonna caught it by the way it looks, no body is gonna try to smoke or something like that. And people practice for almost three weeks for that," Fried added.
Hanan Pochner took pride in his work of art, but acknowledged, "It was not good enough," and added: "I can do better but not in three minutes and under pressure."
The contest drew around 300 students and the first prize took home a sum of USD 213 prize. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
