- Story Text: Rihanna took her first trip to Israel as part of her world tour and visited a scout club over the weekend (Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30).
The 22-year-old artist said that her show was unique because the youth who attended had done community service in exchange for concert tickets.
"It was really unique the way they put this show together where the kids actually had to do something positive, you know, it wasn't like they could buy a ticket. They had to be an orange customer, and they also had to work and put in four hours of community service," she told an audience in Tel Aviv.
Young Israelis began arriving to the show in the afternoon, one fan, Or Fullman, said that she was very excited to attend the show.
"She is so talented and I want to see her, it's so exciting. It was so important to me," she told Reuters Television.
The singer took the stage in front of thousands of cheering fans on Sunday (May 30). The show blasted through the night as Rihanna performed her hit songs, and youth sang and danced to the rythms.
The concert is part of her 'Last Girl on Earth' tour, which began three weeks ago in Europe. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
