A major from the Israeli air force, whose name was withheld from publication under secrecy regulations, told Reuters Television that the purpose of the exercise was "to share experiences".
"This is a joint exercise led by Israeli air force whose purpose is to share experiences concerning flight scenarios and situations, some of them are ones that we try and convey our experience to other nations and other job is to try and get their experiences from their methods of flying and scenarios that have been encountered or practised in the past," said the Major said in Ovda air force base in the southern Israeli desert.
The commander of the Polish air force, Lieutenant general Mayevsky, said that his pilots enjoyed sharing experiences with their Israeli counterparts, on their first visit to Israel.
"You know, we are first time at this place but it's really great experience. We enjoy very much at this time because your pilots has great experience and you have very...one of the best systems, training systems and exercise. And we can compare and we can go and we can make together a great job and our pilots are very busy but very happy," Mayevsky told Reuters Television.
