- Story Text: Five rockets fired by Palestinian militants from Gaza on Tuesday (June 6) hit a house and an area outside a school in the southern Israeli town of Sderot, wounding a resident and causing damage to structures.
One woman was wounded by shrapnel when a rocket hit a children room at her house. Few other town residents suffered from shock when a rocket landed outside a school when children and parents were arriving at in the morning hours.
Two rockets hit open areas in the town, causing no damage or casualties.
The Israeli army responded with artillery fire on areas from which rockets were launched in the northern Gaza Strip, the army said in a statement.
