As Israeli prepares to return the remainder of the Sinai to Egypt under the political terms of the Camp David agreement, trading relationships between the two nations are continuing to strengthen. A permanent Israeli pavilion is being set up at the Cairo International Trade Fair, and the Economic Counsellor at the Israeli embassy there has spoken of his government's support for working towards a balance of trade. Since the signing of the Camp David agreement, Israeli exports to Egypt have increased far more than Egyptian exports to Israel. The number of Israeli visitors to Egypt has also vastly exceeded the number of Egyptians going to Israel. Israel tourists returning from Egypt via the Sinai praised their Arab neighbours.
