  • Story Text: Israel's Foreign Minister Mr. Eban said in London on Monday (November 29) that he believes peace in the Middle East can come only through regional co-operation--similar to that in Europe.

    Mr. Eban noted that the European communities were created not as a result of economic motives, but in order to solve the problems of conflict.

    Mr. Eban's remarks came during an interview following the assassination of the Jordanian Prime Minister, Mr. Wasfi ???all.

    He spoke to Visnews reporter William Ward.
