  • Story Text: Leaving the Foreign Office after the first working session with Mr. Igal Allon, Mr. Saugangargues, French FM, answered questions by the media and said in French that the talks were going well. This was followed by a statement by Israel's FM Allon in Hebrew and then in English in which Mr. Allon reiterated that the respective positions were outlined by each side in a friendly atmosphere and that a second meeting was to be held in the afternoon, in which questions of bilateral interest would be discussed. When questioned whether the PLO issue has come ip in the talks, Mr. Allon said "Of course we discus sed this too".
