- Story Text: Israeli police rushed to the scene of a murder south of Tel Aviv on Thursday (August 20) - but arrived 3,700 years too late.
The skeleton of the murder victim, with a knife in its chest, was unearthed at a road paving site. Archaeologists said the man had probably been murdered during the Middle Bronze Age.
The find was made in a large Middle Bronze Age cemetery (17th to 19th centuries Before Christ - BC), discovered during road-building at Rishon Letzion.
