    London Fashion Winter 2005 week maybe in full swing
    but Israeli models are giving the catwalk crowd a taste of
    what is in store for Spring 2004.

    Residents of the coastal Israeli town of Tel Aviv were
    treated to a colourful fashion show by Israeli clothing
    company Castro Women on Monday (February 16), featuring MTV
    Europe's VJ Becky Griffin as the new face of the company.

    Rebecca Griffin was born in Tel Aviv, Israel but spent
    most of her early years growing up in the United States.

    The model- actress studied film at Tel Aviv University
    and after a national competition is now residing in London
    as MTV European's main presenter.

    Becky who said she was 'a kid in a candy store' when
    she saw Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera at an MTV
    Awards show says that fashion has always been her first
    love.

    The Castro models pranced the catwalk in feminine
    fifties' styled glamour in pink skirts and hot red lips, to
    a hot remix of American R&B singer Kelis' song 'Milkshake'.

    After a thirty-six month Palestinian uprising, Israel
    is trying to break back into the Western consumer market as
    their economy starts to emerge from a three-year recession.

    Israel's economy expanded in 2003 for the first time in
    three years, as fourth quarter growth picked up on the back
    of a global economic recovery, preliminary figures from the
    Central Bureau of Statistics showed Monday.

    The Castro women's and men's fashion company, which has
    been in business for over 50 years and has 42 stores
    throughout Israel, will open it's first international store
    in Germany in September 2004.

    Castro chose Griffin, the European MTV presenter, to
    launch their international campaign and to appeal to their
    new German clients.
