- Story Text: Paraguayan lingerie model pledges to go naked if Paraguay beats Spain in the quarter-finals.
A Paraguayan television host and lingerie model shook up Asuncion recently with a promise to bare all if Paraguay should defeat Spain in it's quarter-final match on Saturday (July 3).
Twenty-four-year-old Larissa Riquelme said she would run through the capital streets her naked body painted in the colours of the Paraguayan flag.
"I said this because it is something historic. Paraguay has never gotten to a semi-final, never the the quarter-finals, so this is the first time Paraguay has gotten this far, it will go to the semi-finals, and that is why I made such a promise," she said.
Riquelme has been highly visible through Paraguay's World Cup run, wildly cheering her team from Asuncion, in revealing outfits, her cell phone protruding from between her breasts, acquiring a large following.
"I have more than 80-thousand fans on Facebook. I am happy with this. I cannot believe what is happening, but well - my dream is becoming reality and now I can say that I am an international model," she said.
She said she is one of Paraguay's biggest fans.
"And so, as I told the people of Spain, through a television newscast - we are "win or die" and yes, let's go defense and the forwards will make goals. This time yes," she said.
Riquelme also showed confidence even in a tie-break scenario.

Paraguay have reached the quarter-finals for the first time, having previously lost to European opponents three times in the last 16. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
