The protest was also against the German Reich Party, whose meetings for this weekend in the Saar were banned.

Organised by the Jewish ex-servicemen's association, thousands of Non-Jews joined the procession's ranks, swelling the total of non-Jews joined the procession's ranks, swelling the total number to above 30,000. From Marble Arch they marched to the German Embassy to deliver a letter of protest.
