- Story Text: Big video game producers are gearing up for the annual E3 conference and plan on making some big announcements.
The gaming world is revving up for its annual E3 conference next week in Los Angeles. Big names like Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts and Nintendo are set to make big announcements.
Adam Sessler of G4TV says this will be an E3 to watch. "This is the single best line-up of games I have ever seen at E3," Sessler says.
"And what's doubly impressive is the confidence that the companies have with these games that they're showing them publicly - that they've actually showed them live on television."
Among the featured games are several sequels. But this time, developers have a much better handle on the systems and the games will take full advantage of them.
Nintendo may be the one to surprise everyone. They've managed to keep their big announcement a secret.
One company noticeably absent will be Activision - they have opted out of the conference this year. But they've been making their own headlines - announcing the creation of Activision Blizzard coinciding with merge with Vivendi.
No matter what the announcements, the developers are planning on delivering some high powered software aimed at their hard core supporters. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
