- Story Text: American actor John Travolta flew his privately owned Boeing 707-138B aircraft into Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday (June 10) on the eve of the World Cup finals.
The actor, who is "Ambassador at Large" for the Australian airline Qantas, will be meeting up with the Australian World Cup squad who are being sponsored by the airline.
Travolta was looking relaxed as he posed for photographs with fans. Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston recently announced they were expecting their third child.
Travolta's aircraft was originally operated by Qantas from 1964 to 1969. He bought the aircraft in 1998 and has had it painted in the Qantas livery of the 1960's. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
