- Story Text: Residents of Knysna on South Africa's Southern Cape Coast prepare on Thursday (June 3) to host the World Cup 2010 French team ahead of their arrival at the weekend.
French flags were hung on poles at the hotel and resort where the French will be staying throughout the tournament.
"For the French team I'm saying they are welcome in Knysna in South Africa, we are very happy and for them they have to feel home and happy," said Knysna resident Crespo, who practiced his horn blowing technique in front of stalls with local produce.
Knysna, a resort with a population of around 36,000 people, lies on the banks of a lagoon and is surrounded by forests.
