- Story Text: The World Cup teams will play at two stadiums in Johannesburg and one nearby at Rustenburg.
The World Cup final will be played at Soccer City stadium.
Ellis Park has a capacity of 60,000 and will host one of the quarter-final matches, Argentina/Nigeria, Brazil/Korea DPR, Slovenia/USA, Spain/Honduras and Slovakia/Italy as well as round matches.
Soccer City seats 95,000 and will host South Africa/Mexico on the opening day of the tournament, Netherlands/Denmark, Argentina/Korean Republic, Brazil/Ivory Coast and Ghana/Germany matches as well as the final and of course a round of 16 match.
The Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg seats 40,000 and will host England/USA, New Zealand/Slovakia, Ghana/Australia, Mexico/Uruguay and Denmark/Japan matches as well as a later round match. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
