- Story Text: South Africa practiced at Windward Cricket Club in Barbados on Saturday (April 21) ahed of their semi-final match against Australia in St Lucia on Wednesday.
Shaun Pollock, South Africa's bowling all-rounder said he is looking forward to Wednesday's match.
"It's a game where whoever produces the goods on the day will win. They will come through feeling very confident about the way they've played. And we will take a lot of confidence from the way we won that elimination game against England. So its set up nicely for a good game," said Pollock speaking at the news conference.
South African skipper Graeme Smith, battling a minor knee injury did not play a full part in Saturday's training session. Smith hurt his knee while fielding in Tuesday's Super Eights victory over England that enabled the team to clinch a semi-final berth.
New Zealand and Sri Lanka meet in the other semi semi-final in Jamaica on Tuesday. The seven-week tournament culminates in the final on April 28 in Barbados. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
