Ozaki died on May 12, after falling ill while climbing the mountain.
According to Kyodo news agency, Ozaki suffered from high altitude sickness, and died on his way down the world's tallest peak after falling ill.
Due to bad weather conditions his body could not be flown into the city earlier.
Ozaki's daughter and french wife, arrived into the capital on Sunday night (May 22) to collect the body.
