Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom received a very royal welcome by their devoted Japanese fans in Tokyo on late Tuesday (May 22) as they arrived separately at Tokyo Narita international airport to promote their latest film "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End".
More than three thousand screaming and crying fans, mostly women in their twenties and thirties waited more than half a day from early morning for their beloved Hollywood stars to turn up.
Both Orland Bloom and Johnny Depp walked up to screaming fans to shake their hands or thank them.
Some fans broke down in tears after meeting with them. "I could feel him because he was very near to me. It was definitely worth waiting for him from early morning. I am so thrilled," said 39-year-old Ayano Asano, one of the devoted fans. And 27-year-old Ritsuko Shimaura added, "I am so excited and my body can't stop trembling".
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" reunites Depp, Bloom, Rush and actress Keira Knightley as they set sail in an all new epic adventure that pits them against the terrifying ghost ship the "Flying Dutchman," that is bent on destroying the pirate ships without mercy.
