Story Text: Japan's Nikkei share average experienced a subdued rise in early trade on Tuesday (October 30) after a powerful hurricane curtailed activity in U.S. markets overnight Meanwhile the dollar held gains against the yen ahead of a much-anticipated meeting by the Bank of Japan (BOJ), which is widely expected to ease monetary policy.
The BOJ is expected to expand its asset buying programme by 10 trillion yen ($125.3 billion), as slumping exports and factory output heighten pressure for bolder action to support an economy on the cusp of recession.
