- Story Text: Leaders Bayern Munich will have to play Saturday's big Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund without Thomas Mueller and keeper Manuel Neuer, coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Friday (April 7).
But Germany goalkeeper Neuer, who has had foot surgery, and attacking midfielder Mueller, will be ready for next week's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid.
The Bundesliga leaders, ten points clear at the top with seven matches left, face Dortmund again in the German Cup semi-final later this month.
Borussia Dortmund midfielders Shinji Kagawa, Julian Weigl and fullback Lukasz Piszczek are "very" doubtful for the game, according to coach Thomas Tuchel.
"It's clear that we are facing decisive weeks, also Bayern," he told reporters, adding "looking at the best gets the best out of yourself. Let us begin tomorrow."
Dortmund, in fourth place and fighting for an automatic Champions League spot next season with a top three finish, are already without injured Andre Schuerrle, Erik Durm and Marco Reus.
Dortmund are in fourth place, 15 points behind Bayern and one behind third-placed Hoffenheim. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
