- Story Text: Hungarian foreign minister Janos Martonyi who is on a three-day visit to Israel and the Palestinian Territories, arrived on Tuesday (November 9) in Ramallah, taking part in a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Malki.
In an interview with the Jerusalem Post newspaper, Martonyi on Monday (November 8) called upon Israel and the Palestinians not to take unilateral measures that could harm the possibility of a negotiated peace agreement. In that interview, Martonyi also urged Israel to renew a moratorium on settlement construction.
Martonyi met with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman in Jerusalem on Sunday (November 7) and visited the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, on Monday. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
