- Story Text: Bangla Desh supporters are slowly putting their occupied areas into some form of order. They have resumed railway services in the Chuadanga - Darsana area - the first services to operate since the trouble started in East pakistan. So far, no railways are functioning in areas controlled by the Pakistan Government forces.
In the town of Chuadanga, provisional capital of Bangla Desh, people gathered on Sunday (11 April) to hear the voice of sheikh Mujib broadcasting over clandestine Radio Bangla Desh. The broadcast urged the people not to give up the fight for freedom and to keep together for the cause.
Chuadanga was otherwise quiet. Men of the East Pakistan Rifles, now part of the Liberation Forces, walked through the streets armed with rifles.
