- Story Text: More than 10,000 protesters massed again in Albania's southern port city of Vlore on Thursday evening (February 6).
Angry protesters in Albania continued their demonstrations on Thursday night (February 6) demanding the return of their money invested in a collapsed pyramid-selling deal.
The protesters marched along a darkened palm-lined boulevard, many carrying candles or torches made from large pieces of paper.
Children and elderly women strode alongside their menfolk as a call from a mosque marked the end of the day's fast for Ramadan.
Not a single government or opposition politician was in sight.
"We want, we want, we want our money," chanted the marchers as they moved off to the harbour and back again.
The inhabitants of Vlore and its surrounding mountain villages have been protesting all day in the city against collapsed pyramid investment schemes.
