- Story Text: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was welcomed to Paris on Monday (May 5) with military honours as France and Japan seek to bolster their economic cooperation.
Abe attended a military ceremony with French Minister for Overseas Territories George Pau-Langevin at the Invalides monument where Napoleon Bonaparte is buried, before a meeting with French President Francois Hollande.
