- Story Text: A Lecturer at the Government Training College, Mirigama has devised a unique means of teaching to talk and understand English through the use of glove puppets. This is bound to become a very popular method of teaching rural children. Classes are conducted to train trainee teachers in this method of teaching, at the Training School. Classes are sometimes held in the open air.
