Story Text: Staff of the European Parliament voted to strike during the session at Strasbourg next week, with a margin of 2-1. Parliamentary sittings are divided between Strasbourg and Luxembourg, and it is this that has angered staff, many of whom live in Luxembourg. A compromise offering staff ten days a month in Luxembourg was rejected by the staff meeting. A Union spokesman said the strike would cause total chaos.
