- Story Text: Bosnian Serbs downed on Sunday (September 3) a U.S. (United States) pilotless plane on a spying mission near the town of Nevesinje, some 20 kilometres (13 miles) south-east of Mostar.
The 12 metre-long (40 feet) "Predator" plane came from the direction of Albania and it was downed by anti-aircraft artillery, the Bosnian Serb army said.
The plane was equipped with two aerial cameras and other electronic devices. Its instruments showed it had been working for 800 hours.
