- Story Text: Andy Murray spoke about his wedding plans and American tennis superstar Serena Williams spoke of her aspirations for the coming year as the Manila leg of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) entered its last day on Sunday (November 30).
Murray , who is planning to tie the knot with Kim Sears, whom he has been dating since 2006, said : "Oh yeah we plan on getting married next year, that's the plan, no dates are set yet, but hopefully next year we'll be able to get married," said Murray, who is planning to tie the knot with Kim Sears, whom he has been dating since 2006.
"Yeah I go home, spend the days at home over the Christmas period, I go back to Scotland to be with my family and yeah, and then we are over to Australia to get ready to start the New Year," he added.
Murray, who has been playing for the Manila Mavericks with Maria Sharapova over the last two days, expressed his excitement over competing with other players and its impact on attracting more fans in Asia.

Serena Williams, who will be playing for the first time in the IPTL, said the competition was an opportunity to prepare for the games next season.
"Well, I'm playing a few cities and I think that it's great preparation for me. Modelled on the successful Indian Premier League cricket competition, the IPTL involves a five-set format made up of a men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles and a past champions' singles match.
