- Story Text: Performance artist Fan Yang attempted to set a 13th Guinness world record for his soap bubble creations on Tuesday by making what he calls a "bubble house."
Working before a small audience in New York, Yang created a bubble of 13 connected compartments that encased a total of 34 people.
Michael Badalucco, star the television show, "The Practice," was one of those encased in the bubble. He said, "It was pretty fascinating to see that bubble come in front of you...it was pretty cool."
One participant, Gary Springer called Yang "a bubble genius."
Yang is known for performing on stage in the "Fan Yang Gazillion Bubbles" show, featuring his bubble creations in numerous shapes and sizes. The show is currently running in off-Broadway in New York City
Fan Yang has set 12 previous records for bubbles, including the largest bubble. He will not know for at least a week if his attempt qualified for a record. Either way, Fan Yang says he will be back trying to break more records. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
