- Story Text: Three ministers form Haiti arrived in France this week seeking greater technical and economic co-operation. It's the first visit by a government mission form the former French colony since Haiti gained independence in 1804.
On Tuesday (April 18), the ministers visited the Elyses Palace for a meeting with French President Georges Pompidou. After it, the delegation was asked what results were exacted from the meeting;
SYNOPSIS: A historic moment at the Elysee Place, in Paris, as a ministerial delegation form Haiti arrived on Tuesday--the first government mission to visit France since Haiti, a former French colony, gained independence in 1804. The three ministers sin the delegation were on their way to meet French President Georges Pompidou. They had hopes of improving economic and technical co-operation. After meeting the President, the Haiti delegation was asked how talks had progressed:
