- Story Text: Away from the World Cup Brazilians have been making their mark on Europe on a real stage -- at the Montreux jazz festival.
It was a night of music from northeastern Brazil in Montreux on Sunday (July 5) and among the groups was 'Banda Eva', with lead singer Ivete Sangalo.
Along with two other band members, Moises Gabrielli and Marcelo Alves, she said if Brazil did not win the World Cup then France should get it.
They said the French deserved at least get to the final, but if they meet Brazil, the green and gold would win their fifth cup.
