- Story Text: Quick, sharp and dynamic outfits from Italian
style master Gianfranco Ferre featured at the fifth day of the
Milan men's ready-to-wear fashion show.
Male models in revealing outfits paraded down
the catwalk on Thursday (July 1) during the fifth day of the
Milan men's ready to wear fashion show.
Using shirts and sweaters with laces instead of buttons,
matched with body-hugging jeans, the Italian designer
Gianfranco Ferre tried to create a cool casual allure.
Models in heavy leather outfits, pierced and patchworked
on both sides or lined in silk for a finer fit, swapped place
with models in taffeta outfits furrowed by metal wire for a
slightly rumpled look.
In his Spring/Summer 2000 collection the designer tried to
acquire sensuality in a manner different from usual, using
brown darker than ebony softened by amber, orange, honey and
light-rich tones.
Taut and compact, the new line took on speed later in the
show with models in long slim pants and well-cut jackets.
The Milan men's ready to wear fashion shows runs till July
2 with Giorgio Armani's collection on display on the last day.
