- Story Text: About 100 Saudi Arabia supporters marched through Paris behind a traditional band to drum up support for their team.
Dressed in traditional Saudi robes, the band was an unusual sight in the heart of Paris on Wednesday (June 17), the eve of their team's match against France.
While most commentators do not rate the Saudi national team's chances very highly, the supporters were determined to give it their most vocal support.
"God willing we shall win in our match against France tomorrow," said one band member.
Saudi Arabia meet France in Group C at the Stade de France in St Denis on Thursday evening.
