Story Text: The Hudson River was on ice January 12th as the first floes from upriver came floating down to the tip of New York, down to the harbour. If you can believe the old timers around here there was a time when ice floating down the Hudson was a commonplace - there was even one winner when reportedly a man could walk over the river from Brooklyn to Manhattan.
But something the old timers never saw was this motorised water skier - Bob Coppage, who uses the skyscrapers of the downtown financial district of Manhattan as a backdrop for his adventures aboard his outboard motor powered water skies.
