- Story Text: Turkish side Galatasaray have set off for Scotland for
their Champions League match against Glasgow Rangers.
Galatasaray flew out from Istanbul's Ataturk airport on
Monday (October 16) without its midfield pair of Suat Kaya, who
is suspended, and Emre Belozoglu, who is injured.
Team captain Bulent Korkmaz told reporters his side were
determined to beat Rangers for a second time and ensure their
passage into the second round of the competition.
Galatasaray beat the Scots 3-2 in Istanbul three weeks ago.
Rangers have not been without problems in the buildup to
Tuesday's game. But manager Dick Advocaat received a boost with
the news that German keeper Stefan Klos is ready to play and
Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Ronald de Boer and Claudio Reyna all
trained on Monday and will be fit.
But captain Lorenzo Amoruso is suspended with Tony Vidmar
likely to stand in.
