- Story Text: World 100 metres record holder Usain Bolt runs at the Golden Spike event in Ostrava.
In his first race since breaking the world 100 metre record 12 days ago, Jamaican Usain Bolt won the 200 metres at the Ostrava grand prix in 19.83 seconds on Thursday (June 12), the fastest in the world this year.
"It was good, 19.83, can not complain for my first run," said Bolt, who clocked 9.72 seconds in the 100 metres in New York on May 31.
He has only run faster once, 19.75, when setting the Jamaican national record last year.
He will race next at the Jamaican national championships on June 27-29. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
