  • Story Text: Millionaire hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton arrived in Manila Sunday (August 14) to meet with the members of a local real estate firm for their beach club project in Manila.
    Media and airline personnel at Ninoy Aquino airport went into a frenzy as the 30-year-old heiress strolled through the airport lobby and into a black car waiting outside the airport.
    "We squeezed through the crowd of people just to get a look at Paris Hilton," said Ferdie Ramos, one of the airport maintenance crew who got a short glimpse of Hilton after she disembarked the plane.
    The heiress, who stars in her own reality show and runs a fashion empire under her name, is on a five-day visit to Manila to design a beach club for the six hectare residential resort for the local developer Century Properties.
    Century Properties said in a statement that the heiress was chosen to be the designer of their new beach club project due to her vast experience in international culture and high fashion.
    Hilton broke the news in her Twitter account last week that she would be flying to the Philippines to launch a partnership with real estate developer.
    Hilton will also be touring her new boutique in the capital and meet with her Filipino fans during her stay in the Philippines.
