  • Story Text: San Francisco 49ers' cornerback Shawntae Spencer met the London mayor Boris Johnson on Tuesday (October 26) ahead of Sunday's (October 31) clash with the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium.
    Spencer, joined by 49ers' cheerleaders and clubs president Jed York, met Johnson at the City Hall next to London's Tower Bridge.
    Sunday's game will be NFL's fourth regular-season game at Wembley Stadium. Both teams have had a bad start to the season, the 49ers have lost six of their seven games so far, whit the Broncos managing only one more win.
    Denver players are only arriving to London on Friday (October 29).
