- Story Text: A fire broke in one of the highest building in Bucharest on Friday (June 26) night.
20 firemen crews struggled for more then 3 hours to put out the fire at the Millennium Business Centre.
Eye witnesses said the source of the fire was an electrical installation of an advertising panel close to the building.
The Millennium Business Centre has 19 floors and stretches 72 meters high.
The building is estimated to be worth between 30 and 40 million euro.
The structure was completed in 2006, but it was controversial from the start due to the Romanian Armenian Church's claim that it threatens the safety of their church building.
There was no immediate information on whether there were any people in the building at the time of the fire. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
