The film, adapted from the non-fiction New York Times bestseller of the same name, revolves around five couples dealing with pregnancy and adoption to humorous and heartfelt results.
When asked if the film prompted any urges to have children, Lopez, Diaz and Banks were not closed to the idea.
"If it happens, it will be a blessing," Lopez said.
"I would love to have a family at some point, whenever that's meant to be," Diaz said. "I have a lot of children in my life now. I'm an auntie for 15 years. I have a 15, 12, 11, and a 3-year-old, so my kid card is full."
As for Lopez, the 42-year-old mother of 4-year-old twins said that working with her on-screen husband, Rodrigo Santoro, was a blast. The film follows Lopez and Santoro's characters through their adoption process.
"It was funny, we knew right away that the characters were used to having fun, going out, living their lives, they're both kind of free spirits," she said. "They were very affectionate, which made the director uncomfortable. He's English. He was like, 'You guys, you don't have to kiss so much.' We're like, okay."
Banks, who co-stars with Ben Falcone, portrays a woman dealing with the tough physical changes of pregnancy like acne, hemorrhoids, swollen ankles and growing breast size. She said that the prosthetic breasts she had to wear for the film were "grotesquely huge."
"Well you can buy the boobs online, apparently," the 38-year-old mother of a 1-year-old son said. "They're monstrous. And they kept sliding into my underarm, and I had to keep popping them back up. They were very heavy and fun. There was a lot of playing with myself all day long because it wasn't going to last forever, so, get the goods while they're there."
