- Story Text: Newly-appointed Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Thursday (October 3) on her first visit to the city state since taking office.
Singapore is the second stop on her regional tour after New Zealand.
Bishop landed in Singapore on Thursday for a visit aimed at boosting ties between the two countries, Australian media reported.
