Platini is visiting Ukraine with a UEFA delegation to check the sites for next year's tournament, which is being co-hosted with Poland.
He flew into Lviv, where a new airport runway is being built and he toured the stadium under construction.

Platini also said: "There are practically no big problems left. There are a lot of small problems. But things are going ahead and I have every confidence in the Ukrainian authorities."
As well as Lviv, Euro 2012 games will be held in Kharkiv, Donetsk and the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
