- Story Text: Arsenal coaches had to split their squad into small groups to satisfy all their Vietnamese fans in Hanoi on Tuesday (July 16).
Arsenal academy players Ignasi Miquel and Damian Martinez spent their afternoon at Nguyen Dinh Chieu, a school for the blind and visually impaired.
The two players were blindfolded and took part in an exhibition match between children's teams from the school using a ball with a bell.
Afterwards the Arsenal players signed footballs for the children.
Goalkeeper Lucasz Fabianski, Serge Gnabry and Laurent Koscielny played street football with young players from Arsenal's local partner academy. Arsenal is actively looking for talent from Asian countries in the hope that, once in a while, someone like winger Ryo Miyaichi will come along to add strength to the Gunners.
Close to 20,000 Vietnamese fans flocked to My Dinh National Stadium to see Arsenal train for tomorrow's match with Vietnam.
Manager Arsene Wenger received a deafening round of applause while winger Theo Walcott was cheered by the crowd every time he got the ball. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
