Me as a football player, being among all these other profiles, personalities in here, it's a big thing for me. I just play football and when you get something like this, it makes it very special." - Story Text: Paris Saint-Germain and Sweden soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined the droves of celebrities that have been immortalised in wax at Paris' acclaimed Musee Grevin wax museum on Monday (February 9).
"I'm becoming a little afraid of him, of myself, let's say," Ibrahimovic said of his wax double, who stands at an intimidating 1.95 metres with both arms raised to the sky holding up both index fingers, one of Ibrahimovic's favourite post-goal poses.
In his Paris Saint-Germain strip -- the same as his wax twin -- the outspoken soccer star was all smiles as he posed for photographs and talked to journalists.
"It's the closest to the original you can come. Me as a football player, being among all these other profiles, personalities in here, it's a big thing for me. I just play football and when you get something like this, it makes it very special," Ibrahimovic said.
Ibrahimovic's waxwork took six months to create, and Ibrahimovic was involved throughout the process, posing for moulds and having his measurements taken.
The 33-year-old plays as striker for Paris Saint-Germain and is captain of the Swedish national team.
His waxwork will find its permanent home next to French rally driver Sebastien Loeb and basketball player Tony Parker. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
