- Story Text: Thousands attended the annual New Year Parade in Hong Kong on Thursday (February 19), to ring in the Year of the Goat.
Organisers said that 150,000 people lined the streets to cheer on 30 floats and hundreds of performers, from traditional lion dancers to stilt-walkers from the Netherlands.
"I want to go to school and I want everyone to be healthy," said three-year-old Adam Yeung, who was watching the parade.
Indian tourist, Tarun Sathi thought the year of the goat should be about freedom.
"We should roam around more, enjoy life, be happy, yes, be healthy" he said. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
