- Story Text: Celebrities and models heading to the Grisogono party at the Hotel du Cap on Tuesday (May 23) expressed their sadness after a suicide bombing in Manchester the night before, where 22 people were killed at an Ariana Grande concert.
Singer Rita Ora said the attack was an "open wound" for her, while actor Antonio Banderas said it felt like having a bucket of water thrown over him.
Fawaz Gruosi, founder of jewellery company de Grisogono, said he "didn't feel very comfortable" being at the party.
"Life goes on," he added.
The annual bash by the Geneva-based jeweller, which is held during the Cannes film festival, is known for being one of the glamorous events during the cinema gala. Singer Jessie J and actress Pamela Anderson were also in attendance.
The Cannes film festival runs until May 28. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
